I have found that showing short, captivating video clips about technology engages students because they love to hear about new advancements in technology. Everyday I search the web for new exciting developments on the horizon and show them to my students. I gauge the effectiveness of the video by the students reaction. I only keep the videos that elicit positive reactions and self-directed discussions from students. I provide you with the links to find these videos as well as summaries and discussions to do with your students.

  4. I’ve been following Gavin for quite sometime and love the lessons he creates and shares. My students were very engaged during the “10 Amazing Tech Videos” lesson(s) and the videos/questions led to some great class discussions about past, present and future technology. I highly recommend Gavin’s work and for any teacher who wants to be (and stay) relevant to their students in the areas of business and tech. He’s creative and purchased or not, you always know you are getting top quality lessons, design and therefore engagement from your classes! 🙂
